Dear Families,

As students are settling into the routines of a new school year, it is inspiring to see their excitement, energy, and commitment to learning. Our campus is already filled with moments that remind us of the promise this year holds.

This past week, Fairvalley High School hosted our Back-to-School Night. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to meet with faculty, learn more about our programs, and experience the welcoming environment of our school community. We truly appreciate the time you took to connect with us and share in this important tradition.

Looking ahead, our Virtual Back-to-School Night for C-VLOA students and families will take place on Tuesday, September 9th, via Google Classroom. We look forward to connecting with you online and continuing to strengthen the partnerships that support student success.

Join us as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a week full of pride, culture, and community! Each day highlights a special theme to honor traditions, role models, and the vibrant spirit of Hispanic Heritage.

Join us on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 for our Virtual Back-to-School Night! The evening will begin with a Title I Meeting at 5:30 p.m., followed by classroom presentations from 6:00–6:30 p.m. Links will be provided in Google Classrooms.

Fairvalley is flashing back! On Friday, September 12th, let’s celebrate Spirit Day by rocking the ultimate 90’s looks. From windbreakers to overalls, let’s make the halls look totally rad.

Beginning this month, students with perfect attendance each month, will receive a certificate and be entered in a monthly prize drawing. At the end of the school year, all students who had perfect attendance during any month will entered into a grand prize drawing. The more months of perfect attendance, the more chances to win!

We are excited to share an opportunity available through Prestige Career College in partnership with America’s Job Center of California.
Students 18 and older can enroll in healthcare training programs at no cost for qualified individuals. Available courses include:

• Sterile Processing Technician Training (31 weeks) – begins 8/11/25
• Nurse Assistant Training (5 weeks) – begins 8/18/25
• Medical Assistant Training (35 weeks) – begins 8/25/25

Programs include engaging lectures, hands-on labs, externships, and job placement assistance.
